The deadline to sign the Google Doc
and pay for our upcoming field trip to Stages Theater (on November 30th) is November 13th, though the
sooner, the better!
If your kinder has not brought in a
non-perishable food item, it is not too late! The Food Drive will last through
this week and will end this Friday, November 10th.
On Friday, the 10th, as well as next
Friday, the 17th, the school store will be selling Gobble Grams. Please see
below to read a note from Mrs. Riz (the school counselor as well as the school
store leader):
"Gobble Grams will be $2 and
students will have an opportunity to write a message to peers or staff on why
they are grateful for them. The gram will include t-day swag (non edible). Each
gram will be delivered to homerooms November 21st in the
morning."
This Friday, the 10th is Picture
Re-Take Day. If your kinder is having his/her picture taken again, please send
in his/her photo packet back to school. Once the new pictures have been
developed, you will receive the new packet. Please let me know if your kinder
will be re-taking his/her picture so I can ensure his/her picture will be
taken. Please also send uniform clothes to school to be changed into after
pictures.
This Friday, the 10th (so many things
happening on Friday!), we are also celebrating Veterans Day. We will be
honoring veterans as well as learning more about veterans during an assembly
Friday afternoon. The Veterans Day program begins at 2:30 pm. You are more than
welcome to join us! If you plan to attend and would like to take your kinder
home with you after the program, please let me know so we can ensure your
kinder's end-of-day things are with us. If you would like to learn more about
Veterans Day and why we celebrate Veterans Day, please watch the following
short videos:
