Spirit Week kicks off on Monday, September 21!
To demonstrate our CA P.R.I.D.E.
Star Way, we will be collecting donations for the American Cancer Society Relay
for Life being held in Norwood Young America on October 3. This is our first of many
opportunities for students to be service oriented. Students who donate $3 will be allowed to wear jeans on Monday, Sept. 21 along with their college t-shirt (which should be back from our
vendor at the end of next week). Adults in the building will
donate $5 for jean day. Cash or checks (payable to ACS) are acceptable.
Homeroom teachers will collect money and you can send payment
at anytime, but no later than 9/21. Students who
do not participate will be expected to be in uniform bottoms.

The remainder of Spirit Week looks like this:
Tuesday: Favorite Color Day
Wednesday: Pajamas or Comfy Clothing
Thursday: Sports Day
Friday: Wear your favorite outfit!
Also on Friday September 25, the middle school students (grades 5-8) will have a dance from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the CA
cafeteria. Admission: $3 or $2 with a canned good (donated to Waconia food
shelf).
We are looking forward to a pride-filled spirit week at CA September 21-25!
