Just a few things going on at School!

Fundraising NJHS will have one last fundraiser for the year. NON-UNIFORM day, May 20th for those who bring in $2 to their homeroom teacher May 18th-19th. Last year we raised $1,600 for Waconia Relay for Life. This year our goal is to reach $2,000! Students Empowered Group will be collecting new and gently used school supplies for Haiti the week of May 11th. We are looking for notebooks, folders, markers/art supplies, pencils, pens. This is a great opportunity to donate those notebooks that only have a few pages used.

Field Day Thursday May 21st:  Grades K-1 will participate 9:30-11:00 and Grades 2-4 will participate 1:00-2:30. Grades 7-8 will be helping run the Field Day stations for K-4.   If rain, make up day is Tuesday, May 26. Wednesday, May 20th:  Grades 5-6 field day is 2:00-3:15.   Field Day is outdoors!  Students are to wear their college T-shirt with shorts if desired. Tennis shoes and socks required.  Please put sunscreen on your child before they arrive to school. Water will be provided for all students by PAVE!!!  Your child can bring a hat to help with the sun that day also. Parents are welcome to come and watch!
